Well I did a little light surgery and replaced the Adaptec sa with a generic Bafo vintage sata controller and low and behold it works with both Vista and XP. I haven’t had time to correct this bug from the older version INF file, which isn’t in the new one. Say ok to the window that pops up and it should start installing the drivers.

Can you provide instructions as to how to modify the inf file as ValDar may need them and I definitely would in the future. Adaptec lists this unit as adaotec they are NOT planning to upgrade to Vista compatiblility. Why even take the time to respond as you did?

It goes faster, it’s rock stable. The liquid can flow directly and inversely.

This board does not seem to allow INF files as attachments so I coverted the INF to TXT, so make adaptec sa you use an inf container, it has the gear displayed in the file and just replace the stock file if you wish. Make use of available links in fista to select an appropriate driver, click on those links to start uploading.
