ATTO Benchmark ATTO has been one of my longstanding favorite benchmarks as it usually gives a different view of drive performance than a lot of the other quick benchmarks available. True Hardware Raid cards are much more expensive, several hundred dollars at least. Find where your kernel is located on that distribution and issue this: Find More Posts by Bruce Hill.
The RAID will be used for storing data documents, photos, video, music, email, etc. Cheap cards and motherboard based RAID are useless.
Like advanced video cards, though, they still need drivers. For the benefit of searchers, this person has an identical problem, only sat a slightly different chipset; http: So there’s no point me fiddling with linux settings at all until I have a driver?
